Florida Center for Breast Conservation uses the Elekta Synergy^®, a highly advanced digital linear accelerator. Elekta Synergy^® reduces the time required for radiotherapy sessions to five minutes or less while giving clinicians the ability to treat targets more aggressively than ever before.

Elekta Synergy^® incorporates Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), an innovative way to deliver radiation treatments that is a significant improvement to existing advanced radiation therapy techniques.

Elekta Synergy^® continuously irradiates the target area while the source of the beam rotates around the patient. Only Elekta Synergy^® has the ability to perform VMAT treatments with multiple arcs, offering clinicians the ability to choose single or multiple arcs depending upon a patient’s unique treatment plan.

With Elekta Synergy^®‘s VMAT technology, a treatment session typically can be conducted in five minutes or less, including true 3D imaging at the time and place of treatment. The integrated 3D visualization capabilities of Elekta Synergy^® result in unmatched clinical confidence, enabling more aggressive treatment of tumors while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissue.

We highly value the relationships we have established with referring physicians, and we will continue to work closely with you as you help to guide your patients through their therapeutic options. You are welcome to take part in the actual treatment of your patient, or the patient will be referred back to you immediately after treatment.
